The Naturally Slim program is the culmination of years of research by Sandra Breithaupt, who struggled with weight loss. She noticed that some people had no problem with excessive weight. These were individuals who were naturally slim and had no medical conditions or special metabolisms that inhibited them from gaining weight. She set out to uncover the reason for this phenomenon and following exhaustive research into the subject, Sandra determined that these “True Thins” were creatures of habit. It was determined that these individuals unconsciously controlled their weight simply by maintaining a few good habits.

Sandra's plan was to isolate these habits and then substitute them for her own bad habits. What happened next was remarkable! The pounds came off AND STAYED OFF! By simply changing key habits and behaviors, she took control of her problem. The most amazing part was that her new diet was not a diet at all; it was a change in lifestyle. She was able to enjoy all her favorite foods and attend all social functions and still maintain her ideal weight.

Sandra’s background in psychology helped her to develop her Vital Needs lessons. These techniques instruct individuals in how to recognize and reduce emotional issues and stress. Her daughter, Marcia, is a family nurse practitioner and brought to the program the importance of health education. Her easy to understand lessons help diabetics get their condition under control and teach everyone how to reduce blood pressure, cholesterol levels and promote heart health.
