She is the daughter of Sandra Breithaupt, the founder of Naturally Slim and the author of
The Dallas Doctors' Diet published by McGraw-Hill.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Marcia discovered a great deal of her time was spent teaching patients how to lose weight. She realized that a small weight loss could lower blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar. Therefore Marcia resumed teaching Naturally Slim seminars as she had done previously. Marcia is active in health promotion and helping individuals make positive changes through a mind, body, and spirit approach to health and wellness.
Sandra Breithaupt founded Naturally Slim in 1978. She has appeared on numerous radio and television programs. Her work has been featured in
Cosmopolitan,
Self, and
New Woman magazines and in
The National Enquirer,
D Magazine and
The Dallas Morning News. Sandra wrote
The Dallas Doctors' Diet which chronicles six Dallas doctors as they lose weight on the Naturally Slim program. Sandra has maintained her weight loss for over 30 years and has helped thousands of individuals experience permanent weight loss.
Sandra learned the concepts that are the backbone of Naturally Slim after observing friends who had never had a weight problem. She starting applying the techniques she saw them using and went from 150 pounds to 104 and has kept the weight off for 30 years. She presents these principles in easy to understand ways and has helped thousands of individuals lose weight and most importantly, keep the weight off.
Candice Jetton, Vice President, has been living the Naturally Slim program for her entire life. As the daughter of Marcia Upson and the granddaughter of Sandra Breithaupt, she has had the principles of the program engrained in her. Candice received her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington and her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas. Candice was trained in clinical social work as a mental health therapist in graduate school, and worked with clients for several years before joining the Naturally Slim team. She hopes from her years of exposure to the program, as well as her diverse educational background, she can bring excitement to teaching the concepts of Naturally Slim.

Janiece Willis, Senior Instructor/ Program Coordinator- Janiece joined the Naturally Slim team 3 years ago after successfully completing the program herself. She attended Texas Christian University where she earned her degree in Radio/Television/Film. She loves the program and believes it is truly a lifestyle and a life changing lifestyle at that. We are thrilled to have her as an instructor. Her teaching brings excitement and entertainment to her clients. Her story is amazing! She provided a testimony of her experience and it is easy to see why she is so passionate about Naturally Slim. “I hit 185 when I was 14 and was well over 200 before graduating high school in 1982. Back then, I was the biggest person in our class. Now, 200 is an average weight! I was considered huge. Throughout my adult life I tried everything from Jenny Craig, to Weight Watchers to a medically supervised fast. I must have lost over 1,000 pounds in 20 years. I put it all back on plus a bunch. I gave birth to triplet girls in 1993 weighing in at 292. Within 1 year, I weighed that without being pregnant. I have no idea what my top weight was. I stopped weighing. In 2002, I heard about Naturally Slim. I was sooo desperate that I not fail at it. I finally learned to taste food and not hate myself for eating. I found something that I could do 7 days a week instead of just the 3 days before weigh in. I have lost 100 pounds since I started and have kept it off for almost 3.5 years. I started in a video class at my church and after watching the same videos for 1 year, some friends convinced me that I could teach it in person to them. I asked Marcia and she was all for it. Now I teach professionally for Marcia. My husband says I love it so much I do it for a living. I do love this program. It is truly a lifestyle and a life changing lifestyle at that. I love seeing people who have tried everything and spent all kinds of money and put their body at risk try something as easy as this program. No pills, no shots, no deprivation. It sounds weird but I really do eat the skin at KFC and lose weight!”

Word of Amy's success spread all the way to a friend in Canada who wished to participate in the program. Amy began sending her emails of each week's lessons and eSlim was born. Today it has grown into the Healthy Lifestyles Class.
